Isıcam Systems are insulating glass units produced by assembling two or more glass panes under factory conditions. The cavity between the panes is filled with dry air or special gases, ensuring energy efficiency, thermal insulation, and comfort in compliance with standards. Isıcam units have high performance values defined by international standards in terms of light transmittance, solar energy control, and thermal transmittance (U-value). These features enhance comfort while reducing energy consumption. Isıcam products comply with TS 3539, EN 1279, and other relevant glass-based insulation standards. The glass and raw materials used meet international quality criteria for durability and safety. Glass types include Float Glass (TS EN 572/2), Frosted and Decorative Glass (TS EN 572/5), Tempered and Semi-Tempered Glass (TS EN 1215, TS EN 1863), Laminated Glass (TS EN ISO 12543), and Coated Glass (TS EN 1096). Isıcam units are inspected for optical and visual quality according to TS EN 1279 and TS EN 572/8 standards. Point defects are acceptable within specified tolerances, while scratches and abrasions are not permitted. Special precautions are taken during production and storage to prevent foreign substances, dust, and moisture. Isıcam units may be affected by altitude differences between production and installation sites or by atmospheric pressure changes during transport. To prevent this, a pressure equalization process is applied. This is mandatory particularly for installations in high-altitude regions and for large-sized units. The steps are as follows: a small equalization hole is opened at an appropriate point on the unit, and after pressure is balanced, it is temporarily sealed with a plug or valve. Before installation, the hole is completely sealed with special materials to ensure airtightness.
