Poyraz Glass Tempered Glass is a safety glass strengthened through heating in special furnaces followed by rapid cooling, making it approximately 5 times stronger than standard glass. It offers high resistance to mechanical impacts and sudden temperature changes, and when broken, it shatters into small, blunt fragments for safety. It is widely used in façade glazing, doors, furniture, shopfronts, and areas requiring security. With our TAMGLASS and SOUTHTECH tempering lines, production can be carried out in sizes up to 6000 x 2600 mm. Note: After tempering, cutting, drilling, or edge/surface processing cannot be performed; these processes must be completed beforehand.
Poyraz Glass Tempered Glass has a wide range of applications, from architectural projects to furniture design. It combines design and safety in special glass applications, offering aesthetic, transparent, and durable solutions for furniture and accessories. In modern building façades, it ensures safety and energy efficiency, while in shopfronts it provides transparency and protection. It offers safe use in skylights, winter gardens, and ceiling glazing, while standing out with its durability in glass doors, overhead glazing, and high-traffic areas. Additionally, it provides safe solutions for vertical glazing applications up to 90 cm above the finished floor level.
Poyraz Glass Tempered Glass is carefully tempered in high-tech furnaces and can be produced in sizes up to 6000 x 2600 mm. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 4 mm to 19 mm, offering flexible solutions tailored to the needs of architectural and industrial projects. From façade glazing to interior designs, it can be safely used in all areas where safety and durability are required.
